Do you wonder how we can ride our horses without bits? Why they are so soft? Why they happily come to us and even compete for both our attention and to participate in riding lessons? Why they have such willing attitudes? How they got so solid so young? How they learn so quickly?

While we can’t take all the credit (the horses themselves are awesome) and their attitudes and willingness owe as much to the way they are kept as the way they are trained. But the way we train still has a big impact and we’d love to show you what we do.

In this clinic, you bring your horse to Hidden Brook Farm and we start with a level 1 clinic. Then, if you wish to stay on for part or much of the week, we continue to help you get them started in the round pen, the first two days – and then we get out and practice each day. The whole time you are starting your horse, it is done in a safe, supported environment. And if your horse is already trained, but you’d like to move forward or change over to this approach, come along. When you see how quickly they come with our gentle methods, you’ll be impressed. You may not become a horse trainer in one week – but this one week will contain a LOT of information. We hope you will join us.

The cost is $100 for the level 1 clinic and $30 for each day afterward – training sessions are from 9am-noon daily.
